Nye Beach is beautiful today. It was below freezing last night, and we woke up to frost on the ground which melted quickly in the bright sunshine. We ventured forth from our vacation rental, Overlook, into the crisp, clean ocean air. Our longstanding habit is to visit Cafe Stephanie for a cookie and cup of coffee, and take a little walk around the neighborhood.
As we wandered, our eye was drawn to two things at the corner of NW 3rd and Coast Streets: bright beach-y pillows in the window of Coastal Breeze, and a brand new sign for Bridie's Irish Faire, a brand new business featuring Irish crafts. Bridie's plans to open tomorrow, February 9th.
